Job Summary:

The role is key to help ensure we deliver the responsibilities of the Treasury Operations team and provide local business support within US hours CST.

Working as part of the Treasury Operations team, this role will be focused on key Treasury Operations activity, including global banking portal administration, confirmations, settlements, static data management and project support.

Hybrid work arrangement requires mandatory three days in office per week either at Deerfield or Chicago

Job Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate daily cash positioning of Walgreens Co. Will act as primary backup for WBA cash positioning process

• Timely and accurate management of the daily deal confirmation process in IT2

• Ensuring successful processing of all Treasury settlements in IT2 or Banking portal as required

• Coordinate wire transfer process with business partners and accounting to ensure timely completion and recording

• Perform reconciliation and performance reporting for various cross-departmental teams

• Coordinate deal entry in IT2 with Shared Service team member

• Support Business partnering with cash variance analysis commentary and investigation requests

• Support back-office FX settlement processing as required

• Process short-term borrowing, repayment notices to banks

• Co-own the quarterly audit process for SOX, internal and external audits

• Support setup and maintenance of the IT2 TMS platform

External Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in Finance, accounting, business management,quantitative analysis or economics

• Subject matter expert in global bank electronic banking portals across multiple jurisdictions

• Ability to work independently and influence without direct authority

• Excellent attention to detail

• Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details andmeeting aggressive deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.

• Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or MBA• CTP/CFA/CPA Certification• Previously implemented or worked on a banking portal (preferably JPM Access, BOA CashPro).• IT2 ION Treasury systems experience• Familiarity with large international Treasury operations• Experience developing or maintaining a 13-week Cash Forecasting • Long-term desire to develop and advance in Corporate Treasury
